Exclusive Interview with Phuket 9’s CEO: Targeting the Arab Investor with Thai Luxury and the Secret of Sustainable Elegance

Abu Dhabi: Atef Al-Batal

Driven by our commitment to “Solutions Journalism” and connecting Middle Eastern investors with premium global markets, we present an exclusive conversation with a trailblazer in real estate. Ms. Papachsorn Meepa, Founder and CEO of Phuket 9, has utilized her profound philosophical approach to elevate her company into a premier Thai brand. Here, she unpacks the secrets behind her success, detailing how Phuket 9 harmonizes sustainability with luxury to cater to the discerning international—and specifically Arab—investor, while sharing her ambitious roadmap for future cross-border expansions.

The Magazine: We are delighted to welcome you. To begin, could you share a glimpse into your inspiring journey? What was the passion and driving force that led you to enter the real estate development world and found a prominent brand like Phuket 9?

Papachsorn Meepa: Thank you for having me. My journey into real estate was never only about buildings or business; it was about creating places where people can feel happiness, security, and a sense of belonging.

I have always believed that a home is much more than a physical structure, it is where dreams are nurtured, families grow, and memories are created. This belief became the driving force behind Phuket 9.

The inspiration came from my deep love for Phuket and Thailand. I wanted people from around the world to experience the beauty, warmth, and peaceful lifestyle that our country offers. What started as a vision gradually became a mission to connect people from different cultures through meaningful investments and beautiful living spaces.

The Magazine: As the founder, what was the core philosophical vision behind Phuket 9? And how did you manage to transform this vision into a brand that attracts international investors?

Papachsorn Meepa: The core philosophy behind Phuket 9 has always been simple: to create value with integrity, respect, and genuine care for people.

From the beginning, I wanted Phuket 9 to be more than a real estate company. I wanted it to become a bridge between Thailand and the world. Every project we create is guided by the belief that success should benefit not only investors but also local communities and future generations.

International investors trust Phuket 9 because we focus on long-term relationships rather than short-term transactions. Trust, transparency, and sincere hospitality are values deeply rooted in Thai culture, and these values continue to guide our company today.

The Magazine: What are the flagship projects or real estate developments that represent the “core” of what the company currently offers, and how do they reflect the modern lifestyle in Phuket?

Papachsorn Meepa: Each Phuket 9 project carries a part of our heart and vision. Our developments are designed to harmonize modern luxury with Phuket’s natural beauty and peaceful lifestyle.

We focus on creating spaces that allow residents to enjoy both comfort and wellbeing. Whether someone comes for investment, retirement, family life, or personal growth, our projects are designed to support a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.

For us, luxury is not only about elegant design, it is about creating an environment where people can live with peace, happiness, and connection to nature.

The Magazine: The real estate sector is seeing a massive shift towards sustainability and smart buildings. How does Phuket 9 integrate these global standards into its projects to maintain a competitive edge?

Papachsorn Meepa: Sustainability is not just a global trend; it is a responsibility we owe to future generations.

Phuket, Thailand is blessed with extraordinary natural beauty, and we believe it is our duty and responsibility to protect and preserve it. Phuket 9 integrates environmentally conscious design, smart technologies, energy-efficient solutions, and sustainable construction practices whenever possible.

For us, true development means creating projects that respect both people and nature. We want future generations to enjoy the same beauty and harmony that inspire us today.

The Magazine: When developing properties targeted at investors from diverse cultural backgrounds (such as the Arab investor), do you adapt designs or services to align with their specific needs for privacy and luxury?

Papachsorn Meepa: One of the greatest gifts of Phuket is its ability to welcome people from all cultures and backgrounds.

We deeply respect the traditions, values, and lifestyles of our international investors. Whether they come from the Middle East, Europe, Asia, or elsewhere, we carefully listen to their needs and preferences.

For our Middle Eastern clients, we understand the importance of privacy, family-oriented living, security, and luxury. We strive to incorporate these elements into our developments while maintaining the warm Thai hospitality that makes visitors feel at home. Ultimately, our goal is to make every client feel respected, understood, and welcomed as part of the Phuket family.

The Magazine: Are Phuket 9’s developmental ambitions strictly confined to Thailand, or are you exploring opportunities for Joint Ventures here in the Middle East in the future?

Papachsorn Meepa: While Phuket, Thailand remains at the heart of our vision, we are always open to meaningful international collaborations and partnerships.

The Middle East is a region that shares many values with Thailand, including hospitality, family values, and a commitment to excellence. We see tremendous opportunities for mutual growth and cultural exchange.

Any future expansion or joint venture would not simply be a business decision. It would be an opportunity to strengthen friendships between nations, create new opportunities, and bring people together through shared values and trust.

The Magazine: To build a solid bridge between Phuket and the Middle Eastern investor, what specific qualities do you personally look for when selecting new strategic partners (whether as agents or specialized media platforms) to represent your brand in this region?

Papachsorn Meepa: When selecting strategic partners, I look beyond business credentials. I look for people who share the same values of honesty, integrity, respect, and long-term commitment.

The best partnerships are built on trust and genuine relationships. We seek partners who understand that real estate is not only about selling properties but about helping people achieve their dreams and aspirations.

Most importantly, I value partners who appreciate cultural understanding and who genuinely wish to build meaningful bridges between Thailand and the world.

Closing Message:

At the conclusion of this interview, Ms. Papachsorn Meepa shared a special message, stating: “I have been in this business for 21 years, and as a visionary leader and a proud citizen of Thailand, I believe that business success is guided by values, culture, and spirituality rather than profit alone.

I warmly invite investors from around the world to discover not only Phuket 9, but also the beauty, culture, and spirit of Thailand. Thailand is known as the ‘Land of Smiles,’ but beyond the smiles lies a deeper spirit of kindness, compassion, and harmony. We welcome every investor not merely as a client, but as a valued friend and member of our extended family. My hope is that through every investment, every partnership, and every relationship, we can create something far greater than business success.

Finally, I would like to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to your esteemed magazine for providing this wonderful opportunity to speak, to highlight the promising investment prospects in Phuket and Thailand, and to showcase our real estate endeavors under the umbrella of Phuket 9 Real Estate Development Company.”

Papachsorn Meepa, the CEO of “Phuket 9” and Atef Al-Batal, The Managing Editor for the UAE
