Cairo – Special Coverage

In a step reflecting the growing momentum behind sustainability and the integration of media with development efforts, Silta Magazine, TECHz Magazine, and Merit MEA Magazine have signed a media partnership agreement with the Watan Sustainability Week Festival for Culture, Science, and Arts – Fourth Edition, scheduled to take place on April 30 in Cairo under the theme “Green Gold Summit.”

The agreement was signed during the activities of the Egyptian Green Business Network (EGBN), held at the Civil Education Center in Zamalek. The summit was represented by Dr. Rasha Abdel Aziz, President of the Summit and CEO of Influence International, the organizing company, while the magazines were represented by Ashraf Gaber, Editor-in-Chief.

This partnership aims to enhance awareness and provide specialized media coverage of the summit’s activities both within Egypt and internationally. It will also highlight the latest innovations in sustainable agriculture, agro-industrial development, and the green economy, contributing to meaningful dialogue among experts, decision-makers, and investors.

In this context, journalist Ashraf Gaber emphasized that the partnership represents a natural extension of the magazines’ role in supporting development issues, stating:

“Specialized media plays a pivotal role in knowledge transfer and in raising awareness of sustainability challenges. Our partnership with the Green Gold Summit allows us to spotlight successful models and innovations in the agricultural sector, while linking them to investment opportunities and regional and international cooperation.”

He added:

“Through our diverse platforms and international reach, we aim to deliver high-quality coverage that reflects the importance of transitioning to a green economy and highlights the role of technology and innovation in achieving food security and sustainable development.”

A National Platform Bringing Together Experts and Investors

For her part, Dr. Rasha Abdel Aziz expressed her appreciation for the partnership and its importance in amplifying the summit’s outreach, stating:

“Collaborating with specialized media platforms such as Silta, TECHz, and Merit MEA represents a strategic step in advancing our mission to promote sustainability culture and connect it with innovation and investment.”

She added:

“The Green Gold Summit is not just a conference, but a national platform that brings together experts, researchers, entrepreneurs, and investors to explore the latest solutions in smart agriculture and agro-industrial development, while fostering partnerships that support the green economy in Egypt and the wider region.”

About the Green Gold Summit

The summit is part of the Watan Sustainability Week Festival and focuses on delivering an integrated vision to transform agricultural resources into high value-added outputs, while maximizing the benefits of scientific and technological innovation.

The event features:

  • A scientific conference addressing smart agriculture technologies and sustainable resource management
  • A specialized exhibition showcasing the latest solutions in agro-processing and sustainable investment
  • Dialogue sessions bringing together public and private sector stakeholders
  • Presentations on investment opportunities across agricultural value chains and related industries

The summit also aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), encourage innovation in the agricultural sector, and strengthen partnerships among government entities, the private sector, academia, and civil society.

Towards a Shared Green Future

This partnership reflects the commitment of all parties to advancing sustainable development, building a dynamic media and knowledge platform capable of addressing environmental and economic challenges, and opening new horizons for cooperation and investment in agriculture and the green economy.
